The location of Waldhotel Barenstein is stunning and absolutely perfect, offering beautiful views of the garden and easy access to walking trails and nearby attractions. the room is spacious and well-kept, complete with a shower and a hairdryer. the staff are friendly and exhibit excellent manners, contributing to a pleasant stay.

Everything was good during 1 day, enjoyed its particularly good location adjacent to Barenstein and main natural attraction. The breakfast was large, the personnel was nice! There was free Wi-Fi in all rooms and the service in general was excellent. The pool was nice, views were fabulous, and its parking was free. Food was fab and I have nothing but such great memories from this trip.

We arrived after a four hour drive from Holland and were told that the kitchen had just closed for lunch, and that only coffee and cake was available until about 6pm. I almost had a Michael Douglas moment... A ham and cheese sandwich would have been ok, but the rules were 100% rigid. I did not expect this from a quite expensive hotel. Luckily we found a friendly pub in town, but first impressions last.

The hotel offers a great variety of food. The units were neat, featuring both a bath and shower. The property's location is lovely and unbeatable, being so close to the forest, shops, and cafes, with a restaurant conveniently open at 9:30.

Beautiful countryside hotel in the middle of an awsome forest, in a little village near Detmold. It had fantastic views and walking paths. Breakfast was very good and it has a good restaurant. The indoor swimming pool and spa gave a plus to this hotel. Would return and recomend it to friends.

We had the most amazing stay at this hotel! The facilities were outstanding, especially the swimming pool and sauna area. The location was perfect for our hiking and outdoor activities.
